I’m writing this after recently completing the advanced class on-line. It’s small success story which I hope will encourage beginners to learn more. I, probably like most new grads of AFSI have asked my friends to let me “practice” on their homes. My first real full-blown analysis (other than my own personal practice workshop — my home) was for a co-worker –J. I did the analysis and found she needed metal in her bedroom. She was finding it hard to find something she liked and kept putting it off. She has some pretty serious health issues and for the last several weeks has been unable to sleep. Yesterday, I was standing talking with another co-worker and J walked up. My other co-worker remarked to her that she looks better than she had in weeks. J told us both that she had finally put metal in her bedroom and on the second night had slept 7 full hours and had done so every night since then.
I’m not about to think that J’s health issues will be cured but by being able to get a full night’s rest, she seems much more able to handle the other problems.
I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal to some, but to J it was extremely important. And that to me is what Feng Shui is all about. And it was convincing enough for my co-worker to ask if I would come and do her home.
I also want to encourage beginners to take full advantage of the classes offered here. While you may feel the beginners class gives enough information, understand that the beginning and intermediate classes are only laying the foundation. And understanding that foundation is utterly, uterrly essential for going further. Having completed the advanced class, I certainly feel more equipped but I also know that there is so much more to learn and plan on doing so by taking more on-line classes and practicing, practicing, practicing. It is worth it when you can help someone make their life a little more comfortable.
The more I learn, the more I learn what I don’t know
