Hi all,

I have successfully moved the site to a new, more powerful server. It should run faster than before.

Additionally, after 10 years on our old forum system, we have updated to the new forums you see here. We are still ironing out the bugs, and there are a few things to consider. First is that we need to re-grant all the permissions to people, so if you don’t see your forums, please give us a week or so to iron things out. I will grant access first to active online students, followed by graduates.

Second, I deleted over 200,000 spam users, that were created over the last few years by automated “bots” that registered on our old forum. Unfortunately, I didn’t do this one-by-one, so I set some broad parameters, such as not having posted and having a spammy website on the profile. As such, some of the keywords may have also picked up some innocent profiles. That is why you may see some members shown as “Anonymous”. If you were one of these people whose profile got deleted, please re-register. We can grant you access to the graduate forums, etc. Just let us know.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some of the links on the forums and on the site may have changed. If you think it is important, please let me know and I can update it.

Lastly, I am working on upgrading our shopping cart, so purchasing online classes, books, luopans, and the like will be the next priority. You should see that come online in the next couple days.

Broken Link…

maybe it’s because you’re still working on access for graduates, but when I go to the Forums drop down menu and then graduate forums, the link does not work and gives me an error message.

Still can’t shop. Error asks to use alternate form of Payment. Tried using 2 diff credit cards. Where is the Paypal link? Looked for that couldn’t find.

Hi Miguel,

I see the purchase attempts. Other transactions from other people went through, so I don’t think it is the gateway. I can’t see the actual transaction (approval/declines) until tomorrow (after the weekend and today’s batch settles).

Please check with your card issuer to see if they can help explain why it did not complete.

As to Paypal, we are not using paypal at this time.

Chris, I’m still seeing this error:

404 Error
It appears the website you are trying to visit is having technical difficulties or is no longer available.

Please go back and try your request again or try searching Google to find another website with what you’re looking for!

Hi Chris: looks like I have been deleted except you still knew my email address to redo my password. address and past courses and completed all gone, as well as no link to forums

Hi Debra,

Yes, we had to delete over 200,000 spam accounts and unfortunately a few legitimate users got caught in the mass delete. The course history did not come over for users, so that is not an issue. Since you registered and are in the forums, you are set. You may still need Graduate forum access. I can add that later tonight.

I’m sorry to just be getting back to you…I was traveling then down with the flu.

Which I click graduate forums, I still see the error message I pasted above. Here is the URL
