Server Move

Hi,

Next weekend, February 24th and 25th, we will be moving the Institute’s websites to a new server. This may result in the server being inaccessible, or certain functionality being unavailable. (Including the bulletin board and shopping cart.)

The result of this move is that we will have a server that is faster, has more capacity, and will allow us to grow beyond what we have today.

We are planning this so that there should be as little interruption as possible, but you may notice some odd things occurring as we transition. If by Monday the 26th, you find certain functions still not working like you are used to, please notify me at [email protected]. I will post an update to this message when all is complete.

Just an update, the following domains have already been transitioned onto the new server:

amfengshui.us – Spanish
amfengshui.cn – Chinese

The following will be moved next weekend:
amfengshui.jp – Japanese
amfengshui-vn.com – Vietnamese
amfengshui.com – English

Just a reminder, please be aware that we are moving this coming weekend. So you may find the bulletin board down at times.

Something else you should know. Once we move the bulletin board, you will need to clear your cookies and temporary files on your browser. That way there will be no problem with you logging into the board again once the move is complete.

P.S. We have already moved the Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese sites, so now only the English and Japanese sites remain. That is what will be done this weekend.

The server move has been completed, although there are some fine tuning of links and misc. issues that will be on-going for a little bit as the dust settles.
